Mo-Africa oil and gas consists of three(3) founding members : Mr Zuko Llewellyn Rwaxa, Mr Makondelela Mufamadi and Mr Sedige Merafe. below are brief backgrounds on each of our founding members.
Mr Zuko Llewellyn Rwaxa
Zuko, holding honors in B.Comm.(SA) and B.Comm(UFH), began his career at South African Breweries and later ventured into small business development. He worked at the African Bank, overseeing the establishment of a business unit and shaping policies to assist black entrepreneurs. Zuko attended courses at Cranfield University in the UK, focusing on microfinance for the poor. He briefly joined the National Westminster Bank during his time in the UK. Inspired by the dawn of South African democracy, he founded Zuko's Petroleum for fuel distribution and later established Gauteng Bakeries. Currently involved in RGH, a student accommodation facility in Soweto, he also founded Nkululeko Security & Protection Services, serving Blue-Chip clients. Zuko's extensive management experience spans operations, human resources, and finance. He holds various board positions, including former board member at Unisa School Of Business Leadership and former Chairman of the Foundation For Education in Enterprise Development. Additionally, he serves as a director for Newtown Improvement District, Lilian Ngoyi Group Of Consultants, and ZR Financial & Management Consultants.
Mr Makondelela Mufamadi
Sam Mufamadi, An independent practicing Advocate since 1992 as a member of the Johannesburg Bar Council., joining the National Advocates Forum in 2014. Has extensive civil & criminal experience from Magistrates Court through to the Constitutional Court. Currently consulting on BBBEE and on the board of several companies. Extensive experience in investigations and commissions. His commercial experience includes several years as an Analyst and Trader with Metalcor, where he spent time on analysis of the Oil Market. He has an extensive circle of business and government contacts which keeps him in touch with the status quo. One of his important strengths is his ability to provide both strategic and legal advice to the company.
Mr Sedige Merafe
Sedige Isaac Merafe has 40yrs experience in Petrochemical space working in various facets of the industry. His experience encompas been Laboratory technician, Technical Advisor, Sales Executive, Supply and Logistics Executive, Fuel Facilities Manager and Fuel Facilities Automation Advisor. His experience covers the full value chain of the Petroleum Industry. He matriculated in 1975 and did various courses related to the Petroleum Industry covering Technical, Sales, Environmental Impact Studies and Supply and Logistics.
